Her Wilder Nature Kasia Farrar -444.jpg

Breathe deeper. Live slower. Feel whole.

I guide people through breathwork and body-based practices that support the nervous system and help restore presence, clarity, and grounding. My work blends modern breathwork with gentle somatic approaches, seasonal wisdom, and science-informed tools to help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and your inner rhythm.

Her Wilder Nature is rooted in the understanding that nature, within us and around us, offers a steady guide back to balance, honesty, and belonging in a fast, demanding modern world.

Welcome to Her Wilder Nature

A guide in breathwork and bodywork

Why Breathwork and Bodywork

Most of us live in a near-constant go-mode, juggling responsibilities, screens, and expectations that rarely pause. Over time, the body adapts until it can’t. We may feel anxious, tense, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and no amount of thinking our way out of it brings real relief.

Many people arrive here during periods of burnout, transition, or change, when familiar ways of coping stop working and the body asks for something different.

Breathwork and bodywork offer a way back through the body rather than the mind. Through conscious breathing and gentle somatic work, the nervous system can begin to settle. Muscles may soften, the breath can deepen, and a sense of internal rhythm can slowly return.

When the body feels safer, connection becomes possible. We may meet life with more presence and less protection, feeling more grounded and available to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world, whose steady, cyclical pace offers a quiet reminder of balance.

This is the essence of Her Wilder Nature: tending to the inner landscape so we can meet the outer one with more ease, awareness, and care.

Work with me

  • Breathwork is an invitation to reconnect with your body, calm the mind, and release what no longer serves you. I guide sessions using the conscious connected breathing method, working gently with the nervous system to create space for presence, balance, and renewal.

  • Bodywork helps restore flow where tension and emotion have settled in the body. These sessions combine gentle touch, somatic awareness, and energy work to support deeper grounding, safety, and embodied healing.

  • Seasonal gatherings are a space to reconnect with your heart, with nature, and with others. Held regularly in the Muswell Hill and Highgate area, these weekly circles weave conscious connected breathing, ritual, and sensory experience to invite reflection, rest, and renewal.

  • I partner with organisations to bring breathwork and nervous system awareness into the workplace. These sessions help teams manage stress, improve focus, and cultivate emotional resilience in a world that moves fast.

About Me

I am Kasia Farrar, a former media marketing director turned breathwork guide, ritual maker, and student of bodywork and holistic healing.

For over two decades, I worked with global brands including the BBC, Disney, Sky, and Sony, leading marketing teams and shaping stories that reached millions. After experiencing burnout and personal loss, I began a quieter journey of reconnection through breath, body, and ritual.

I have lived in North London for more than twenty years, where I now guide others through modern, grounded practices for healing and renewal. I am deeply inspired by my father, a doctor with a healer’s heart who believed in natural medicine and the wisdom of the body, and by the natural world itself, which continues to teach us how to rest, renew, and return.

Her Wilder Nature is where this ongoing exploration now lives. It is a space to slow down, listen inward, and gently explore what it means to live well and humanly, guided by nature’s rhythms, in the modern world.

 FAQs

  • Breathwork and bodywork are body-based practices that support awareness, regulation, and reconnection through the breath and the body. Rather than working only with thoughts or talking things through, these practices invite the body into the process.

Breathwork uses conscious breathing to help calm the nervous system, release tension, and reconnect with the body’s natural rhythm. Bodywork involves gentle, respectful touch and somatic practices that support grounding, presence, and a sense of safety in the body.

Together, breathwork and bodywork offer a way to listen to what the body is communicating and respond with care.

  • Modern life often keeps the nervous system in a state of constant alert. Breathwork and bodywork help signal to the body that it is safe to slow down.

Through conscious breathing and gentle body-based practices, the nervous system can shift from stress and activation into rest and regulation. Many people notice increased calm, clarity, and a greater sense of grounding, as well as an improved ability to respond to life rather than react to it.

This work supports balance rather than forcing change.

  • Many people are drawn to breathwork and bodywork during periods of burnout, transition, or change, when familiar ways of coping no longer feel supportive.

These practices offer space to pause, reconnect, and gently orient during uncertain or demanding times. Rather than fixing or pushing for outcomes, the work supports steadiness, presence, and self-awareness while things are shifting.

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit. Curiosity and a sense that something needs to slow down are enough.

  • Each session begins with a short conversation to check in and understand what is present for you on the day. This helps guide the session in a way that feels supportive and appropriate.

You will then be guided through breathwork and, where suitable, gentle body-based practices that support grounding and awareness. Sessions move at a pace that feels respectful and safe. You remain in control throughout and are always welcome to pause, adjust, or ask questions.

Time is also included at the end for rest and integration, allowing the experience to settle.

  • Breathwork works with the nervous system, supporting the body to move between gentle activation and rest.

As awareness increases, you may notice physical sensations such as warmth, tingling, changes in breathing, emotional responses, or memories arising. These experiences vary from person to person and from session to session.

The focus is not on forcing release or transformation, but on listening to the body and allowing it to respond at its own pace.

  • No previous experience is needed. Many people come to breathwork and bodywork for the first time through Her Wilder Nature.

Sessions are guided clearly and gently, and everything is offered as an invitation rather than an instruction. You are encouraged to listen to your body and move at a pace that feels right for you.

    Beginners are very welcome.

  • Breathwork and bodywork are supportive wellbeing practices, but they are not suitable for everyone in all circumstances.

Please let me know before booking if any of the following apply to you.

    Medical considerations

    • Epilepsy

    • Detached retina or glaucoma

    • Osteoporosis

    • Cardiovascular or heart conditions

    • Recent surgery or significant injury that has not fully healed

    • Pregnancy

    • Asthma. Breathwork may still be possible, but you must bring your inhaler and let me know in advance

    Psychological considerations

    • A prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia

    • Psychotic or borderline psychotic states

    • Any other mental health condition that may impair your ability to engage safely in practices involving strong emotional or physical sensations

If any of these apply, this work may not be appropriate at this time, or it may need to be adapted. We can explore this together during a discovery call and decide what feels safe and supportive.

Breathwork and bodywork are not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or mental health treatment. They may complement other forms of support, but they do not replace professional care.

Your safety and wellbeing always come first.
